If utilizing the A+ Scholarship the summer semester immediately following high school graduation, the student must also be enrolled as a full-time student at a Southeast regional campus for the upcoming fall semester.

The Southeast A+ Scholarship will pay 100 percent of tuition and technology/maintenance fees for 000-299 level courses (including developmental courses, if needed) that are not already covered by other awards specifically denoted to pay such fees (i.e. outside scholarships) or by a federal or state grant. The value of the Southeast A+ Scholarship is based on enrollment at the beginning of the second week of the semester (fall/spring). Step-Up students must be enrolled full time by the beginning of the sixth week of the fall semester to be considered for A+ for their initial fall semester.

Student is responsible for all other charges, including special course fees, repeated courses and textbooks.

To be considered for the Southeast A+ Scholarship, students should apply for admission and indicate plans to attend a Southeast regional campus, submit a final high school transcript with the A+ seal, and enroll full time at a Southeast regional campus.

In addition, students must complete the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA) each year and submit all requested financial aid documents to Student Financial Services. If the student has not submitted the required financial aid documentation (including verification forms, if required) before the first payment due date, a payment will be required.

By participating in the Southeast A+ Scholarship program, the student relinquishes any other university-based merit scholarship and endowments intended for tuition and/or other fees. In some cases, it may be beneficial for a student to decline A+ funding in order to receive a combination of need-based and scholarship aid. Contact the scholarship coordinator in Student Financial Services to discuss your options.
